Perseverance has become generic as a conversation whether online or in-person, just because it feels like everything has been said about the topic, but there’s depth behind comparing musical perceptions across genres, past and present. With a Tears for Fears sample, Nas explores the restrictions of success because of race while reminding us of world history. While the sample aspires to literally rule the world, he spins the concept toward unity and how everyone has space to rule the world without oppression, poverty, and misinformation. Even though he claims his throne at the top of verse 2, Nas inspires and encourages through meditative reflections of black history and America.

Meditation is intimidating for most, but hues like this Cyan Dawn emphasize the nimbly progressive healing benefits of the practice. Most resistance against meditation focuses on the inability to do just that for a long period of time, but with the aid of this hue, it will feel comfortable and encourage you to keep going. In color therapy blue aids in cleansing, purification, and lowering blood pressure; just as this Nas track aids as a cleanser of victimization, purifier of negativity, and lowers the pressure of fear in pursuit of personal success.

Scenically, this color opens up spaces while remaining focus driven, and would be useful for dance studios, meditation centers, spas, and any environment driven towards healing, or any business environment that requires a lot of focus. This song will work well in in films as we’ve heard before (cc: Like Mike), for bright mornings, and morning networking events.
