Kicks, keys, and bass pulsate in independently lush intervals to create a meditative listening experience while facing harsh truths and acquiring the mindset to push passed them through escapism, best illustrated through this Paste Blue hue. While deep on the surface, the playfulness of the medium saturation pacifies the otherwise aggressive introspective undertones. On this track, Zaia just wants to escape into and with who he’s singing about, they’re already his refuge, but he wants to develop this escape into a physical location and away from what his surroundings give him to feel. Zaia’s flow also serves as a guide through the soothing tones of the instrumental, suggesting how, why and when he and his partner should escape.

To accompany the romantically frustrating, and isolating conditions in the lyrics, this would be a record perfect for early mornings and late nights. The delicate key pattern will mix well with a sunrise, and the arrogant kicks sit well with the sunset. As the song plays on ends of positivity and cynicism, so does the tone of song, at each end of the day.

Scenically, this record would play well in modern bookstores, restaurants, and while reading, studying, or doing concentrated research.
